The founders behind Intrexium
Intrexium was co-founded by Lars Andersson and Kristian Bennetsen. Lars leads invention and technical development. Kristian leads strategy, investment, partnerships and commercialisation.
Lars Andersson is a Swedish inventor, entrepreneur, and design engineer with more than four decades of experience transforming ideas into practical innovations. Throughout his career he has held executive positions including CMO, SEO, and COO, combining business leadership with technology development across multiple industries.
As Founder of Intrexium Inventions and previously Founder of Sweden Nano Water, Lars has focused on sustainable engineering solutions spanning advanced water purification, biotechnology, renewable materials, and environmental innovation.
Lars leads the development of next-generation biological technologies for aquaculture and agriculture, including advanced fermentation platforms, sustainable feed systems, circular production concepts, and bio-based materials designed to improve performance while reducing environmental impact.
His vision is to bridge engineering, biology, and sustainability to create scalable technologies that contribute to the future of food production, clean water, and resource-efficient industries.
With over 40 years of innovation experience, Lars continues to pursue solutions that combine scientific thinking with practical implementation to address some of the world’s most important environmental challenges.
Kristian is an entrepreneur and investment professional with more than 20 years of experience in primary food production, finance, agricultural investment and animal life sciences. He co-founded Roslin Technologies, commercialising science from The Roslin Institute and the University of Edinburgh, and JBI Equity, focused on food, ag-tech and agriculture. Earlier roles include investment management at Emirates NBD Private Banking and equity analysis at Bloomberg.
At Intrexium, Kristian leads strategy, investment, manufacturing partnerships and commercialisation. His experience in production, company building, capital raising and international business development connects Intrexium’s technology with the partners and capital required for global growth. He holds an MBA in International Banking and Finance from the University of Birmingham.
Technology and commercial leadership
The founders combine feed invention with commercial execution. They will build Intrexium with specialists in nutrition, manufacturing and aquaculture.
